"世の中で多数の人がやっていることをやらないと、“なぜ？”と聞かれます。大企業を辞めると“なぜ？”、籍を入れないというと“なぜ？”、結婚５年目で子どもがいなくて“なぜ？”と問われる人も多いでしょう。

この“なぜ？”は、厳密に言えば「なぜ他の人がやっていることを、あなたはやらないの？」という質問です。

ですが、質問している人はたいてい思考停止状態なので、そういう質問だと認識していません。“なぜ、あなたはフリーターなの？”という質問の裏返しとして、“なぜ、あなたは定職についているの？”という質問も成り立ちうることを、質問者は意識していないのです。"
